SCENT SNIFF REVIEW: "SEA SALT MIST"
I love this scent. Description in the book reads "Conjure a gentle tide lapping against driftwood, a rustle of beach grass, a spray of ocean mist and sea salt with bright mandarin and sultry amber."
I can really smell the driftwood and mandarin with a hint of - what seems to me - to be the smell of Scentsy wax Ocean.
It is great combination. Soft and warms softly as well. Not too strong but enough to fill a room.
Really great scent.

My list of top 5 must-have's to have a successful business:
1. Business Cards
Yes, I bet you are thinking not everyone needs a business card to have successful business but I am here to tell you that you are wrong. Business cards offer so much more than just your company information. Let's say you are at a doctor's office full of potential customers and you are caught without your business catalog or samples. (yep, we have all been there) hectic day and you left without filling up your bag or purse with the most vital materials you need to share your business with others.
A business card is small and easy to stash in your purse or wallet. Best and affordable place to make your own business cards is VistaPrint. They have a 50% OFF sale going on now through July 28th. Take advantage of it! I just did. I purchased magnets, brochures and more business cards. :)
2. Catalogs
This is a two fold for business cards noted above. Catalogs are a must.... I don't know about you but if I wanting to purchase or am interested in a product I would like to see it or next best thing see a full color catalog. And if you think that you can just use the website.... remember there are still folks out that that do not have internet or know how to use a computer or phone! Those folks are typically called grandparents. hee hee. (just kidding)
3. Samples
Ok, not every business offers products that they can have samples of, so for those that do, samples are key to sharing the product. Have them packaged well and in good condition. No ones wants a melted piece of wax or a leaking sample of perfume. ewwwww!
4. Internet
If you do not have access to internet... you better make sure you have awesome verbal skills because that is how you will be tell folks about your business......with today's technology age... internet is being used for website, blogs, shopping pages, auction sites... the list goes on and on.
Last but not lease... 5. Social Media (be knowledgable)
Social media is on the rise. Nowadays a person just needs to have a Facebook page or blog and they can host a show and have well more than enough attendees to their show, from all around the world. 50 people couldn't fit in my dinky living room, and it's great to not have to clean or even be dressed to host a party.... hee hee!

Introducing the Scentsy Diffuser, our most personal fragrance experience
yet. Simply add water and your favorite Scentsy Oil to the reservoir,
choose your light and mist option and enjoy.
The Scentsy Diffuser
releases your perfect fragrance, carried in a microscopic mist, for an
exclusively natural, full-bodied, immediate experience precisely

A simple system
1- Add clean, cold tap water to the reservoir fill line (about 120 mL).
2- Add your choice of 21 essential and 100% natural Scentsy Oils.
We recommend starting with 4-5 drops of oil and adding more

3- Choose your light setting. Press the light button once for high,

This review is about the Scentsy bar called "Summer Sunset"
This scent was introduced in June as a scent of the month.
Description of the scent states:
Delight in the sun’s last rays as brilliant pomegranate, black currant and rhubarb dissolve into a horizon of sugared lemon and vanilla frost.
I particularly like this scent. It's not my favorite SOTM but it does have a sweet smell to it and tends to warm well and is not over powering to the nose.
If you are looking for a soft but sweet scent, Summer Sunset is for you.
Also comes in room spray and car circle.

"Lush Gardenia" is the bar pictured... I love this scent and this scent is only available during the spring/summer season.

Scent Review: July Scent of the Month - "Guava Honey"
The description on the Scentsy monthly flyer shows:
"The sweet, radiant scent of pure honey, finished with dark berries, tart citrus and a slice of fresh guava."
I don't know about you but up until now I had no idea what Guava smelled like. Of course, I googled.... :) who doesn't.
I found this regarding the Guava Plant...
Guavas (singular guava, /ˈɡwɑː.və/)[1] are common tropical fruits cultivated and enjoyed in many tropical and subtropical regions.
Psidium guajava (common guava, lemon guava) is a small tree in the Myrtle family (Myrtaceae), native to Mexico, Central America, and northern South America. Although related species may also be called guavas, they actually belong to other genera, such as the "strawberry guava" Acca sellowiana.
The most frequently eaten species, and the one often simply referred to as "the guava", is the apple guava (Psidium guajava).[citation needed]. Guavas are typical Myrtoideae, with tough dark leaves that are opposite, simple, elliptic to ovate and 5–15 centimetres (2.0–5.9 in) long. The flowers are white, with five petals and numerous stamens.
The genera Accara and Feijoa (= Acca, pineapple guava) were formerly included in Psidium.[citation needed]Smelling this scent in the Scentsy party tester, I am not thrilled about it and let me tell you why - I am not big on citrus and the tartness this scent warms. I can smell that just by taking the party tester lid off and letting it breath.
I smell the honey in it but the tartness of the citrus really drowns out anything else.
I haven't had a chance to actually warm this scent in one of my many warmers..... so it may warm and the heat from the bulb may bring out the honey and berries scent more. Not sure.
